In the 1990s, the founders of Die Mold Machine — a U.S. plastics-injection manufacturer with more than 50 years of experience — noticed a serious problem on farms: there was no reliable way to mix chemicals and medications into water with accuracy and consistency. Farmers struggled with improvised solutions, constant dosing errors, and equipment that simply wasn't built for the harsh, fast-paced environment of large operations.
One of the company’s founding engineers took on the challenge. Using his deep knowledge of mechanical design and plastic injection, he developed a completely new type of doser — the first product of its kind in the agricultural market, because nothing similar existed at the time.
